Nathan's parents are coming out next week so Nathan can certify them as scuba divers. They wanted to be able to scuba dive on the cruise this summer, so what a better place to get certified at than Catalina. I absolutely love diving here. It's really one of my top 5 places to dive and I feel so fortunate that it's practically in our backyard. The kelp beds here are amazing. I thought I would hate diving in cold water, but you can only see kelp in cold water diving and I can't quite describe it, but when you're about 50 feet down and you look up at these kelp beds growing all the way to the surface of the water and then sun is shining through them like rays of sunshine...it looks like the sun coming through a green stained glass window.
Caron and Mike come Tuesday, and Tuesday thru Thursday is all of their pool sessions and Friday morning we head to Catalina til Sunday to do their open water training. I'm so excited. I'll take pictures and video to upload on here so you can see it!

Wow! I'm so jealous. I once scuba dived in Mexica as a teenager and felt as if my ears were going to blow up! My ears just won't do it! You have fun with your in-laws. Hope you are great! We still play M & F. It's fun! Take care Rach!

You go girl!! Ryan begs me to dive but I am just way too big of chicken!! I'm glad I found your blog. Keep in touch..
How fun, you are so lucky to be close by. I am so glad you left a message. I had erased my whole blog page with all my contacts and as I started adding them back in, I know I was missing a few. It took me a few days to remember who it was, and yours was one of them. I was able to track the other ones, but not yours. So YEAH, now you are back on my list. Hope you guys are doing great.
